Hello LTT forum, first time overclocker here. I followed Linus's 6700k overclocking video guide and started my 6600k with 4.4Ghz(multiplier only) and manual voltage to 1.32. Ran Aida 64 then Asus RealBench for an hour or so, stable, and the maximum temp reached 75C, average temp is about 69C. Ambient temp is 23C.

I am wondering if 1.32 Vcore is too high for 4.4Ghz on 6600k?  Ultimately I want to push it to 4.6Ghz, what is the incremental Vcore I should put in for every 100Mhz?

In terms of thermal performance, should I pay more attention to a maximum temp or the average temp?

Here's my set up:

i5-6600k

Asus Z170-E

Crucial 16g ram 2400Mhz xmp enabled

EVGA g2 750w

CM hyper 212 evo

Fractal design arc midi r2 with 2 additional noctua 14mm fans.

Any input is much appreciated. Thank you!
