I've went back to default setting and every couple hours the screen freezes and I have to do a restart. Usually happens when I click on GPU tweak while playing a game, or minimize/maximize what ever game I'm playing. I've un-installed all my utilities that are related to my cpu/GPU. Only left is the Crosshair, Asus GPU driver. Here's my part list.

What test can I do in order to pin point the locking issue?

Thanks

If you're getting a blue screen test your ram dimms for a faulty one (provided you have no cpu overlcock).

Uninstall any Asus software.

update motherboard bios

From http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/CROSSHAIR_V_FORMULA/#support

-Get chipset driver

-Get any addition chip drivers (additional SATA, audio etc) OR turn off these in the BIOS is you aren't using them.

-Get gpu driver from AMD

If none of this works try doing a windows reinstall and install the relevant drivers again.
