That board only has one PCIe ×16 slot and one PCIe ×4 slot, so SLI will not be supported on it.

Definitely not on this board. SLI takes two x8 lanes and this only has one x16 and one x4.

Secondly, the motherboard manufacturers pay Nvidia actual money for SLI so it'd be daft of them to support it but not advertise it.

You could use a Supermicro riser card - one 16x to two 8x - and connect the cards via the SLi bridge.
