Hello, I WILL build a gaming PC for the first time, I really need your advices. My budget is tight so please don't be offering me buying Intel I5s xD

Right now my PC is rocking these epic stats:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600

SPECS

GPU: Radeon R7 240 2GB DDR3, of year 2013

GPU SPECS

RAM: 2x DDR2 1GB 800Mhz, of year 2007

Motherboard: ASUS P5KPL-VM, of year 2007

GPU SPECS

I am stressing my current PC just because I want to show you what of an upgrade it will be for me :)

I am planning to build:

CPU: Intel i3 6100

GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Dual

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 (4Eur more than 2x 4GB)

Motherboard: MSI H110M PRO-VD

Parts I'll reuse from the old PC:

SSD: Samsung 750 Evo

Case

PSU (Silverstone strider 500W)

Right now I'm using a 720P Samsung 940NW monitor but I am planning to get a 1080P monitor as soon as I get all the parts and make sure everything works.

Budget is pretty much 650eur

Part picker, I'm thinking about different GPU variants. There are few 1060 choices. Would buy Rx 480 but the price in Lithuania (Europe) is even higher than Gtx 1060...

MSI GeForce GTX1060 OC 6GB

Asus Dual GeForce GTX1060 6GB

Asus AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB

Asus GeForce GTX1060 6GB STRIX

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X

And so on...

Wasn't RX 480 supposed to be sold at around 200USD? I see one being sold for 330Euros and thats the cheapest it gets from my country. :')

With your budget you should be able to get i5-6400 or i5-6500 + RX480/1060 (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/HYPC6X). If you need a bit of budget room the RX 470 is the best bang for buck by a bit.

Otherwise your upgrade path looks fine.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

I have done quite a lot of research and a difference between for example I5 6500 vs I3 6100 is totally not worth the 100% increase in price from I3.

Some benches:

Offtopic, I must admit that LTT forums are veery nice. :)

I am not a messy person , there are barely any background apps that I dont need and arent forced on me running. You must adapt when you have such a s**t PC as I do right now. :)
