Bios wont update Please help

I just got a new mobo and cpu today asus rog maximus vi gene and i5 4670k but the bios version is 2013 so it doesnt support the prosessor yet. I have tried to update it using 2 different methods the rog button and flashing a usb stick neither worked. When I flashed the usb it said update successfully system will be reset. Then it reset but it still says that i have version 2.10.1208. 2013.
