I have a toshiba 2tb hdd in my system specs below and recently it started spiking to %100 when i go on chrome and forget games or rendering and opening files is slow  i know my harddrive is dying what can i do to get a little more life out of it this dosen't make sense only got this a couple months ago

A drive is most likely to fail in the first few months or after years of use. 

 

Run a smart scan and see what's going on. If it's actually dying, then RMA the drive. But there are other issues which can cause drive usage to sit at 100% -- virus, malware, an issue with the OS, etc... So also run a virus and malware scan.
