Colour coordination

Rickie cheong

Hey guys,i have been planning a new build. This time I wanna ask if this color coordination is okay. I've tried to color match everything black and red, now I just want to ask for your opinion if it's okay or if there something that I should change. This build isn't about a powerful computer but more to an aesthetically pleasing computer.

That should look totally fine. Your heatsink is going to stick out like a big silver sore thumb though. Granted its a neutral colour so you would probably be fine, but you may want to consider something a little more black or red in order to fit your theme a tad better. Below are a few links to some that I think would work better aesthetically. Some are really pricey, some not so much. Investing in a better cooler will also allow you to overclock harder/quieter, so don't think that you're just paying for the aesthetic if you have to shell out a few extra bucks. You're going to get your moneys worth (probably).

I recommend the H5 Ultimate for its price, performance, and compatibility whilst still largely adhering to your aesthetic. Some of the others are a bit more expensive, but may fit better aesthetically. Keep in mind there are a whole slough of AIO's that come with LED's that you could match to your system if you wanted as well. ALSO! be sure to check that these have the clearance to actually fit in your chosen case. Some of them are quite large and may not quite fit with the side panel installed.

+1 for the H5. Super quite and great performing cooler. Plus the box it comes in is pretty awesome.
