Hi Everyone. I need to put together a budget build that will only be used in an office. It will only be used for Microsoft Excel, Word and an Accounting Software, therefore nothing fancy. I have experience when it comes to high end gaming parts, however I am a bit lost when it comes to cheap, less performing parts. I would appreciate any help :)

Realistically though, this is what best buy is for (or whatever your European equivalent of that might be). they will have tons of cheap computers for sale with acceptable office specs for about as cheap as you could hope to make one (after the cost of your OS)

That custom build will not work as the i3 6100 (i assume you mean i3 6100 as there is no such thing as an i5 6100) is not compatible with that motherboard. You will need a motherboard with socket 1151 in order to fit that CPU. chipsets H110 H170 Z170 B150 B170 and Q170 are your options for that (in your price range you should only look at H110, B150, or maybe H170 but those will be a bit more expensive). Other than that it looks fine. Also make sure you get a motherboard with on board graphics support since you're going to be running off your IGPU.

The build you are getting in your area is pretty fine, but check if it has onboard graphics. Your custom build is wrong as there is nothing like i5 6100. I think it must be an i3 6100 and the motherboard you choose has a 1150 socket which is not compatible with the 6th generation intel processors. You will need a socket 1151.
