MAMP MySQL server not loading

Hi all, I hope it is right to post this here, not 100% sure..

I have installed MAMP on my PC and when I open it it loads the servers, however, the APACHE server starts (even though some times it says port 80 is not free), but not the MySQL server. If i go to the start page and go to phpMyAdmin it says it cant connect to the MySQL server .

Now, I looked on the web for options but i havent find anything that worked for me... I had xampp on my machine and I disinstalled it, I looked for other services that could interfere but I found none...

I hope someone can help.
