Hi,

I'm running 3 coolgate radiators in my system. A 480, a 360 and a 240. All of them are 60mm thick and have a fin density of 7fpi. I'm currently assessing the possibility of configuring my system to pull only instead of push/pull and push as it is right now.

So my question would be which sp fans are capable of cooling my system efficiently while also remaining silent.

Currently my system will cool an overclocked 5820k, two oc'ed gtx 980s and 32 gb of oc'ed gskill ddr 4 ram.

On the reviews if found in the Interwebs the EK WB VARDAR and Noctua NF 12 seem good choices. Are there any othe recommendations out there?

Thanks in advance.

Ek Vardar, cheaper and performs well. The new corsair fans are also nice, but expensive.

The fans won't be visible in my 900d. The 480 and 240 are sitting in the bottom, both pulling air in, while being hid under a light box. The 360 will hang on the top pulling air out and the fans will be covered by the holdingmechanism of the side panel.

I just researched the corsair fans. You were talking about the magnetic ones, right?

I'm needing 9 fans in total and here in germany the new corsair fans cost almost 1,5 times more than the Vardars or the old corsair sps. So I'm gonna take price/performance in consideration too.

Also I don't really like the look of the corsair sps. Vardars are much easier on the eye.

Which rpm-version of the vardars would be best for my use case? I'm eyeballing the 1850 rpm version which would give me 2 mmH2O.

You have pretty low FPI so i think 1850 would be fine. Best as of noise/performance. The lower fpi the less CFM you need.
