Title says it all! Whats some of the coolest tech you have seen recently? please comment with anything cool and mind-blowing from PC components to smart bikes.

To start off I'm gonna share a cool video I saw from Google today about a cool tool to help get kids involved in programming.

And one more for those with money to burn in their pockets. The Seabreacher being one of the coolest watercraft I think I have ever seen, certainly worth checking out and putting on the Christmas list for Santa.

Microsoft Hololens (if it ever becomes a thing):

Right now the video is probably just some video editing, but if it is even remotely close to how it looks in the vid, that would be pretty cool.

I've been super hyped to get my hands on a dev kit for one of these or even a vr headset! Though I do know a friend who has used one for student projects at his university. I have a good feeling this is going to be going much further than the Google Glass

I saw a demo video of the hololens! It's not as crisp as the video shows but, that can all be changed with software. So maybe I can get one in like 4 years when they are consumer ready :D (I mean they advertised it to be able to watch tv and play netflix, so I'm expecting a consumer version, I hope).

If sure if you are willing they will probably be doing dev kits for hololense as they've been doing with the vr systems. Its not too difficult to get your hands on some of these devices before consumer releases. Out of curiosity, where did you see this demo?

They totally did over hype it in some of their previous videos when they were first publishing it. But seeing the progress so far and how mobile computing has been massively expanding and growing stronger I'm sure with a couple more years commercial editions will be very comparable to lots of their original release videos. Hololense is one of my most anticipated technologies actually and thanks for reminding me about it!

Looking at the date of the demo video (April 1,2016) I really do hope it is a coincidence lol. If not, I'm excited to see how the progress on the hololens is going, and no problem about reminding you about the hololens.
