Two days ago I changed the motherboard battery and everything appeared to be working fine. Yesterday I was just browsing reddit when suddently I got a BSOD (or rather Blue Screen of Sadness) with the error: THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER. I updated the BIOS, as suggested in a Tom's Hardware post but that hasn't fixed it. I also updated the GPU drivers.

Bear in mind my PC has been having problems lately. Things like:

  • LAN driver disappearing and appearing after a restart.
  • One of the fans of the GPU occasionally doesn't starts.
  • PC suddenly turning off completely.
