But I can't figure it out.

Scenario: I just wiped two computers at work, which were connected via LAN to our in house server.

Usually Windows log-ins are XXX/Username at the windows start screen, but I can't seem to have this work.

Then, I do not see my server on my network of computers when in the individual computer networks, but I see most of the computers in the office on the LAN.

I have full access to the server and can see these wiped computers on it's network.

How to I get these two things communicating so that I can get them functioning as they were?

Thanks.

Quick heads up, the log-ins are actually XXX\Username, not XXX/Username.

If they are on a domain, Username@XXX also works.

What OS?

Do they have network connectivity?

Are they on a Domain or Workgroup?

If they are supposed to be on a Domain, did you re-add them after wiping them?

Are you trying to connect via RDP, if so have you enabled Remote Desktop?

Are the Firewalls enabled / disabled / ports open?

Windows

they have internet and LAN connectivity

Not sure

I do not know how to re-add them - I think this is the main issue

I can easily set them up as Remote desktops, but do not want to do this

I have not checked.

Thanks!
