I ain't trying to be a hater but... a $56 midtower case in a $4000 computer setup... For a blue build it is going to be anything besides cold...  But I truely do like the logitech concept. I just think more things need to be focused on like cooling and space in the computer for air flow....And maybe throw in some water :).

Why bother posting this if you don't have this kind of money?

Besides that, even if you did, this computer build is useless.

A solid computer build can be had for around $2,000, not including the monitors or the peripherals.

Building a computer based on color is stupid and a total waste of time and money.

not at all

looks can be a good thing to go after for amazing aesthetics

like me

i loved a black and white theme so i went for one

i knew i was spending unnecessary money

but i love the way it looks.  aesthetics do mean something to many people.

Amazing aesthetics doesn't do a damn thing for computer performance. So, why bother?

because i dont want an eyesore of a computer in my room

it's also a badge of pride to look into my case on my right (on the desk) and see a perfectly color matched setup.

aesthetics cost me $30 in the end. that money could not have been spent elsewhere.

i just swapped out the GPU for a same cost one that fit

swapped the ram for the same cost

i was already planning on getting a CPU cooler so i grabbed one that fit the theme.

i upgraded from a $100 motherboard to a $130 motherboard for the theme

so at $30 dollars that could not be spent elsewhere, why not? why not have my system run well AND look good while doing it?

it's also an amazing conversation starter when Techy friends come over and see a well built system and setup to match

The only thing that amazes me about any computer build is that it runs well with ZERO lagging in whatever functions it is performing.

I could not give a flying fook about the looks of the computer.

I've seen some really nice LOOKING computers that performed horribly. Why?

Whoever built those computers thought they were trying to be cool when in fact they made a complete donkey out of themselves.

Not much blue case with large side panel. But a bucket of paint can do the trick

where in being the idiots that they are  chose poor cases and had their computers suffer at 90 C while gaming and in 1 case, throttling down to the point my i5 4590 outmatched his i7 5820k in a cinebench

sure, my i5  cant keep up with the i7 4790k and i7 5820k they got, but its not throttling down like a motherfucker because the owner just wanted pure performance

there is a point to aesthetics. better cooling
