My computer keeps shutting down at random times. I just recently installed an ssd and thought maybe I messed something up while doing that. It was the 275 GB crucial mx300. Online forums suggested it would be a power supply or ram issue, but a 500 watt PS is plenty according to the calculator on cooler masters website. I also ran Windows memory checker and it came back with no errors. If you all have any idea what the problem might be, please let me know. Thanks in advanced

I actually had this issue a while ago with the same processor. It was my motherboard and I think it's yours too. My motherboard only supports a AMD FX 4300 I think that's also the case with your motherboard. if you don't have the money to replace it, what I did was lowered my voltage (Not sure how low I went, I think I went to 1.2V but not 100% sure) and speed (3.0GHZ) and it fixed it.

I'm not really sure how to explain the issue but I think it's because your board can't handle your processor when the processor has to do heavy work (Like gaming etc).

If you do have the money to replace it, I would recommend going for this board from ASUS: https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/970-PRO-GAMING-AURA/

That board should be no issue with your processor.

Hope this helps!
