Gaming/ workstation rig build? HELP

So im currently an architecture student and recently ive been trying to build a rig where i can render using software like autocad, archicad, sketchup, lumion, and other type of vray software and such. Then again, at the same time im just a student so i wont be rendering 24/7 and id pretty much like to game and it would be great if i can run latest 2016 games such as battlefield 1 with optimum performance and graphic. After days of research, i have 2 lists of specs that i would like to finalize. Before i lock the build, it would be great if i can get something from you guys and which one i should go for

Specs 1:

Mobo: asus h170m plus

Cpu: i7-6700

Gpu: zotac geforce gtx 1060 amp! Edition

Ram: kingston hyperx fury ddr4 2133mhz 16gb

Hdd: seagate barracuda 3.5 1tb

Ssd: pny ssd 120gb

Psu: corsair cx650m

2nd build

Mobo: x79 lga 2011 oem

Cpu: intel xeon e5-2680 v1

Ram: kingston hyperx fury ddr3 1800/2133 mhz 16gb

Gpu: zotac geforce gtx 1060 amp! Edition

Hdd: seagate barracuda 3.5 1tb

Ssd: pny ssd 240gb

Psu: corsair cx650m

-i originally was planning to go for the first option, but then i found a sweet offer for the mobo and cpu. But its also kind of outdated, and i really need some brief, detailed opinion s on which i should go for

If you need more cores, get the 2nd one

If you need faster cores, get the 1st one.

Look up what kind of work load your modeling software uses, a better gpu might be the way to go.

Thats the thing, cant really point out which one i need, which is more important

Look at the recommended specs for the software and look at reviews and other peoples computers for that software .

The first specs pretty much maxed out my budget, why?

There are some crazy build masters on this forum, maybe they can find something that works even better and gives you all the performance you need for a lower price. Both builds look good and I would lean towards build #1 but perhaps some things can be tweaked to give more performance.

Current Build Log/PC:

Storage Server Setup:
