HDMI confusion, please help?

Hi there, 

 

So I recently bought a MSI GTX 1060 and it has a HDMI 2.0 port. If I were to connect my HDMI cable (Which is high-speed) to my monitor will it support atleast 60Hz?

Any version of HDMI will do 1080p@60fps. Its if you go to a higher resolution or want a higher refresh rate that the monitor's HDMI standard would matter.

What version of HDMI is on your monitor? What are your monitor specs? (The answer is surely yes it will, but I'm just double checking)
