Install Question - Help

Ae0lus

I'm hoping the right section.

I need help installing my Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I Wi-Fi card.

I have an ASUS Z170-A motherboard, in which I'm struggling to find the correct connection to connect the card to the USB.

I also have a problem in that my external CD drive busted. Therefore, I need someone to point me in the direction of the steps to install the drivers. As I looking at there site for this and installed something called Intel PROSET and it didn't really do anything.

I'm really hungover as well so things are pretty tough as they are...

Plug the USB connector to your motherboard (the same type of header which you use to plug the front panel usb in)

As for the driver download it from this page http://www.gigabyte.sg/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4739#dl

Yes I can't find that port on my ASUS Z170-A was hoping someone could point out a bit easier where it should be located.

As for the drivers I did that and received the Intel ProSet thing - which I'm ever so confused with.

The intel software means that the wifi card is a intel based card, just install the pro set software and it should work.

As for the USB port see page 14 and 15 of this manual. Usb is #14
