Logitech g300s button help!

So I have the Logitech G300s mouse and I bought it for the macro buttons on it.

The problem I have been having with it is that the buttons only allow me to map them as different buttons or commands.

This is not want I want. I want it so that for example mouse button 4 is button 4 in a game in csgo or another game.

My last mouse I had allowed me to do it like I want but the G300s doesn't.

I'm I just a idiot or is there no way to use the mouse how I want it? 

Would really like some help on this as I have been searching on this for hours now.

I understand your pain here in wishing to map it as "Mouse Button 4", but I don't believe you can do that with the g300s.

My brother has the same mouse and I believe he just maps the buttons to keyboard keys as needed.

 

What is it you'd like a particular mouse button to do?

Ignore that it can't be called "Mouse Button 4" and just tell us what you're trying to get it to do for you.

if your "problem" is like what  i use idk how its  problem

 

I use X mouse to map the mouse buttons as keyboad buttons (keys you never use when gaming)

 

then when you press that button on the mouse it will say you pressed that keyboard button, so when i press mouse 4 it says i press ;

 

so then in game it works like that,

 

is the only the key name what you dont like? so like for crouch it will say ctrl instead of mouse 4 and that bothers you?
