IPad air 2 help

So i totally drained my iPad Air 2 battery and when i try to charge it i automatically opens and closes again. So when i plug it in, i get the stupid apple to appear and the iPad autopowers on and recloses due to lack of batterie power. But it's actually plugged in... So i am lost and would like to know if anyone knows what to do?

Was plugged in a whole 24hrs, all it does it's powers on on it's own and dies right away. So i get to see the apple logo and it dies over and over again, trying not to get angry and break it lol

Don't have access to a computer for a few weeks, far up north in canada for work and it's my only entertainment... Sucks to use a phone for movies.
