Silent HTPC $450

So my mom wants a basically silent HTPC for the living room in a very small form factor, but is capable of very basic gaming

so this rig is mostly for watching netflix, youtube, dailymotion, while being able to handle some light gaming (Minecraft, Portal 1-2, Half Life 1-2) for $450

would the nuc be silent and able to game? or would the custom solution be better?

Looking at just the stock cooler, integrated graphics fine for lightweight gaming.

the reason i went with a GTX 750 is because this will be running on a 4k tv in the living room. so it has to handle Minecraft and Portal at 4k decently well.
