Is there a significant price difference? If there is about a $20 difference, I would get the DCU II for the non reference PCB and VRM.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

I think the asus one has a custom PCB, so you'll probably get better block support with the stock one.

OP: What GPU block manufacturer do you want? I know for a fact that EKWB has a block for the DCU II.

Okay. They've got a block for the DCU II that you can buy. The block should be the same price as the reference block.

If your water cooling a gpu then get the cheapest one with a reference board, custom boards are likely to not have a compatible block to cool them.

I think thats pretty pointless, you get the same gpu, pay for a better cooler which you throw at something and pay for a cooler which is likely to cost a lot more so that the company can pull a decent profit.
