What tool did you use to test that WD Blue? I would recommend using our official tool WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic and see if the drive passes both the quick and the extended tests. 

 

Checking the raw values of the S.M.A.R.T. status should completely put you on the safe side that the drive is fully healthy. If you are not sure how to read it feel free to post it here.

 

I would also recommend checking your PSU as it sounds like the most probable cause of the issue. Also, checking the drive with other SATA and power cables on another SATA port is also a good idea so you can exclude these things as possible causes of the issue.
