robot drive trains

We must learn about robot drive trains in my robotics class. Is there any website or article that is like... THE authority on drive trains for beginners? we are working with VEQ IQ bots btw.

There are autonomous trains with no real human in it. Is there one with a robot that sit in the drivers seat? Don't know.

There is is a hotel in Japan where guest are meet with robotic receptionist.

Drive trains are... They're a very broad thing.

In my experience, you just sort of learn them while doing it.

 

Seems like, if you're in a class, then you'll get material and instruction concerning the stuff you go over. Is that not the case?
