GTX760 Blocks (pixelation)

Go to solution Solved by Zebelial,

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know I bought the GTX 1060 and it is working with the 3 screens like a dream.

Thanks for all the help

Hi Guys,

I have a GTX760 connected to 2 screens and one TV. I was playing games and then I started seeing blocks appearing on the screen. I attached a file with a clip that I took while in diablo. These blocks are displaying on all monitors. My thought is that my GFX card is faulty but I would like to have some opinions regarding this issue. I ran the 3 screen setup for a few months now. Drivers Have been updated, card has been reseated. Any ideas?

Thanks guys.

I have 760 and it stutters on 2 monitor. U run 3. To be honest im not surprised :D

If u have iIntel CPU try to plug your TV into mobo I/O (iGpu) and run only 2 monitors from your GPU.

Turn off any OC u may have done and lastly try running just one Monitor and unplug other 2 completelt so u start fromt the bottom and see ilhow the card does. If it pixelates even on one Monitor then its done and u need to replace it (1060 is a great choice).

@Thony,

After this happened I am thinking of going the 1060 route. Will the 3 screen setup I am currently on, work on the 1060? I Will definitely test with only one monitor connected. I also bought 3dmark just to do a stress test on the GFX but those blocks come running in just after opening 3dmark so I don't think I even need to do the test.

Thanks for the reply Thony, much appreciated. :)

Oh and no OC done on machine :D

1060 is deffo more capable of handling 3 screens but I dont know for sure.  To confirm have a look at youtube or other reviews.

Let me know if u get problems with single screen on your 760.

Ok 1 screen seemed fine, but launched 3dmark and 20secs in, the blocks (pixel) started again. So yeah seems to be totally 760 related. And this is with the 760 running max on 33 degrees (91F)

Thanks again for all the feedback
