Hey guys!

So I updated my laptop to the new Anniversary update, and my mouse felt weird. In games such as League of Legends and CS:GO the mouse seems to lag a bit behind as well as become very smooth. This is very uncomfortable smooth because it is unnatural and it feels as though it isn't responsive. I checked all settings (mouse acceleration, motion blur) and everything was the same. I reverted the update but the same thing still exists, where it didn't before. Does anyone have any idea as to how to fix this?

Thank you

Maybe there was also an update to the drivers or Logitech gaming software? Check the settings.

checked the settings and all are up to date. the thing is that it happened only after i updated to the anniversary update so i don't think it's drivers or anything

Hmmm...  Not too sure what it could be then other than perhaps some settings might've been changed. Double check that all your settings are correct for the mouse profiles you have under your gaming software. Other than that, the only other possibility I can think of is your mouse's sensor being clogged up with dust.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

I mean it changed in a matter of minutes so i don't think dust collected that quickly lol

Kinda sounds like mouse acceleration. I assume you have already googled for an answer?

I have and nothing related to mouse acceleration is turned on

I really have no idea. Maybe something is corrupt. How old is the mouse?

less than a year old. I feel like it's something software because there is no acceleration with some testing so I believe its just some smoothing setting turned on where I can't find it?

It could be as simple a fix as a system restart, but I assume you have done that to.

FWI when restarting, actually click the 'restart' button because windows 10 doesn't completely shut down when you "Shutdown" its weird.
