Hello.

After finding an R9 295X2 for £250 I am thinking of upgrading from a R9 390

I would want to be able to run all my games at 5760x1080 at high to ultra settings 65 fps. Would this work, could it run on a EVGA supernova 750 B2, and would this have the same support issues as regular crossfire?

Thanks in advance

Just now, ScratchCat said:

My opinion is that yes it's a good buy and should max most things out but will probably need a new psu (It can use 500w+ buy itself) and may have frame pacing and scaling issues.

yeah, frame pacing issues are a no go for me. I'll wait and get a 980ti/1070

So long as the games you play support CF.... You're good...

Personally coming from someone who has used 2 290x's in crossfire its really a good deal, as long as the games have CF support most games that I ever played ran smooth and fine. Yes frame pacing will always be there with any CF/SLI config but AMD has really taken steps in fixing this I never really notice any issue when I was using my cards. I would say go for it, 2 290x's destroyed every benchmark I threw at them and to this day I miss having them :(
