Best Drive Setup For Video Editing

Hello all!

 

Currently I have a 500gb SDD and a 1TB HDD in my computer. I use the SSD for storing premiere project files, previews, and as the scratch disk (I assume as this would be the default place). I use the 1TB drive for storing all my media, incoming and exports. 

 

I recently acquired a 2TB WD green HDD and was wondering what the best way to implement this into my workflow is. Any suggestions??

I would use it just to arhive/ and make backups

Moving everything that is completed into the Green would be best to me as well as setting it as an OS backup location using Macrium Reflect.
