LGA771 Cooler Problems

Hello User of this fantastic site I have a question that maybe some of you can help me with!

 

I need help with my LGA771 motherboard I want to know if I can install a LGA775 Cooler onto it without many problems?

Because the coolers I found are very very loud it sounds like its going to take off at times.

And i need a good recommendation for a quiet one if I can run a LGA775 Cooler.

I am currently using a "Intel Cooler" but I have never seen a Intel Cooler have a copper heatsink on it.

So can someone help me with my problems and I am also running a dual CPU config so space side by side is a little small.

Well my question was will these work on a LGA771 socket??

It won't fit. LGA775 is square form while 771 is more rectangle.

Most available 771 coolers are server oriented.

I believe Noctua's NH U12DX would be the best choice. Though it has been discontinued,

Its that bit old that you'll have hard time finding anything from retailers.
