Hello!

I'm about to buy a MSI 980 and i'm currently using a 6 years old Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 600w, it has 2 6+2pin connectors but being already 6 years old is concerning me, should I change it now?

I'm using this psu with this specs:

-i7 2600 @ 4.2ghz

-Crucial Ballistix Tactical 4x8 32gb

-XFX R9 270X 2GB (using x2 6pin)

-Sentey Arvina

-Asus P8Z68-V LE

-Cooler Master 212 EVO

-x3 1tb WD Caviar Black

-120gb SSD Kingston

The computer is pretty much loaded, prices here in Argentina are really high but i'm really considering to get a new PSU.

What do you recommend?

I recommend just grabbing a gtx 1060, because it is more future proof/ cheaper and has the same performance. I recommend the rose will quark 550w.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

I'm getting the 980 mostly because compatibility issues and, believe it or not, the 1060 is more expensive here!

I just searched for the Rosewill Quark and I noticed Rosewill doesnt even exist here, found just cases. arghhh

EDIT: Nvm, your PSU is garbage.

Gather every 500~650w PSU you can find in your area. List every single one of them available for purchase and we'll tell you what to buy.
