Hello,

I was watching a stream that I frequently view, and his PC froze while playing WoW and a loud sound came through his playback device (he heard it in his headphones and I heard it on my end.). He then ran some GPU benchmarks and seemed to handle everything fine, he also tried puling out some of his RAM (normally runs 32 GB) and the problem still persist.

The PC specs:

CPU: i7 6700K

GPU: GTX Titan X

RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance

MOBO: Asus MAximus Hero VIII

OS: Win 10 64 bit

PSU: EVGA Supernova 1k Watt Gold rated.

He uses a gaming PC and then a separate streaming PC. I know the streaming software is xSplit but above and beyond that I am not sure what other factors to list or that could also take part in it. So please if anyone can help I would, and he, would appreciate it. Also if this is something that should not be posted here then just let me know/take down the post. Thank you in advance for the advice!

Brandon P.

EDIT: This also happens during Overwatch as well. But not during something like Killer Instinct.

I assume you know this streamer personally...

Basically run the gauntlet of diagnosis software, (GPU test benches, CPU stress programs, Memtest and hard drive checkers)

On both the gaming and streaming pc.

The only thing we have to fear is... Stupidity...
