And what would that build be used for?

Mainly everday computer purposes, normal stuff, I don't think I'm gonna game, getting out of it

Thinking about doing the i3 6100 and the MSI h110m gaming mobo

If that's the case, then you can go even cheaper:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Pentium G4400 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor  ($57.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Asus H110M-A/M.2 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($51.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Aegis 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory  ($30.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $140.95
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-08-16 22:46 EDT-0400

You could go even lower if you wanted and get just 4gb instead of 8. But I figure I'd just throw it out there anyways.

If you wanna go really cheap and you aren't so focused on building, you could get a cheap used prebuilt. *GASP**glass shatters**woman screams**shots ring out*

*YOU MONSTER*

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD
