My colleague has a GTX 560Ti that doesn't behave well, if the system manages to boot the graphics driver crashes when you start anything graphics intensive, like Internet Explorer (lol).

I tried the card in my personal pc (running GTX 780 by default) and similar issues appeared when I re-installed the driver. Windows 10 started crashing as soon as the boot-spinner was gone (putting stress on the GPU I guess).

My assessment is that the card is broken, am I right?

He claims it started happening a few days ago, it happens on 2 systems.

try some older drivers. New drivers are not optimized for older cards so it could be causing a bug or glitch.
