CASE WITH USB 3.1 Headers

Go to solution Solved by Biggerboot,

Referring to your original post, there aren't that many (if any) entry level cases with USB 3.1 (type c) on the front.  Typically 3.0 is fine for the front port, and is what's normally included.  Any devices that you may want plugged into a 3.1 to take advantage of the high bandwidth, you'll probably want plugged in directory to your motherboard.

As for finding a cheap case:

You could try a cheaper brand like Apevia, DIYPC, Raidmax, etc.  You can find roomy enough cases on the low end, but typically they'll cheap out on thickness and quality of the metal, included fans, paint, etc.  Check reviews, because they can have their good models and bad models.

I agree with 007 that the Source is really your best option on a budget.  There's also the Corsair Carbide Spec-02 and Thermaltake h22 at around the same price if you are interested in a side window.  You don't want to go super cheap on the case when you already have really high end components  And if you're already bothering with a gtx 1080, what's a little extra for your case and psu? They are pretty important and commonly underestimated in the build.

Power supply wise, absolute cheapest you want to go is an evga b, but the new Corsair CXM (450/550/650) or a Seasonic s12ii will do you better with a 5 year warranty to boot.

dont u have something more inexpensive

A Source 210 doesn't even have USB 3.0... how come you can't spend more on a case if you're looking for something with USB 3.1?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
