I just built a custom PC, with an Intel i7 4790k CPU, an ASUS GTX 1070, the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard and 16GB of dual channel hyperX fury RAM, a 980GB Sandisk SSD, and a corsair 850W PSU, all in the NZXT H440 case. I built it and plugged everything in correctly, but when I press the power button nothing happens, I know that the PSU works because an indicator light on my GPU is on but that's it, no signs of anything from other parts, including fans and LEDS. I tried taking it all apart and checking for metal shorting the motherboard, there was none, I changers ram slots and tried single channel, nothing, it won't even post! Can anyone help me? Thanks

Take the power switch connector off the motherboard. Double check which pins are for the power switch in your motherboard manual then short these 2 pins with a paperclip.

Thanks, that got an led lighting up, and I reconnected the power button and it's still blinking, it's a few millimetres above the JBAT1 area in the diagram above, what should I do now?
