Hey guys,

In my system right now, I have a ZOTAC GTX 1070 AMP! graphics card. I want to do custom water cooling in my system, but I don't know which GPU block to get. All of the ones that I've looked at thus far have only supported the founders edition card. I'm not sure if my ZOTAC card is a reference PCB or not. Any suggestions?

P.S. I'm aware that I have an H100i cooling my CPU. I plan to take this out and use it with another system.

Thanks!

Ethan

your GPU is not reference pcb so you will need to use universal GPU blocks and cool your VRMs yourself

Ok. And how would I go about doing that? Sorry, this is my first time digging into custom loops, despite watching many tutorials on YouTube...

alright so you will need one of these

https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-vga-supremacy-acetal-nickel

it is a universal GPU block

unless you run the card 24/7 vrm cooling isnt 100% neccesary  and as long as you keep good airflow you should be fine

Ok. Thanks so much! I'm not running the card 24/7, but I do play a lot of demanding games, and I have a 4k monitor. My GPU gets used a ton. What would you recommend if I want to cool my VRMs separate from the existing air flow in my case? It's an NZXT S340, if that helps

so for cooling the vrms, you will need some vrm heatsinks

im not sure how many yours has but you shouldn't need more than 2 packs of these

One more thing. Would the VRM fins attach via an adhesive on the VRM fin itself?
