4300 memory clock? Gtx1070

Hi guys,

Got a Gigabyte G1 GTX1070 overclocked to +500 memory clock and +85 core clock.

I remember that with the OC my memory clock was always 4500, yet now i've noticed that it's showing 4300.

Any idea whats going on?

What are you monitoring your GPU with and are you sure it's stable?

Monitoring with MSI afterburner and i'm pretty sure it's stable.

Been playing with this OC since two weeks or so for hours each day and never had any crashes or problems

When you restart your PC or reapply the overclock does it go back?

All I can suggest is to figure out what you're doing when it happens, if it's lowering itself.

check your power and temp targets, and voltage offset. gpu boost 3.0 is probably changing memory clocks, though it shouldn't change it as much as the clock speed

GPU Boost doesn't really apply to memory. Memory isn't dynamic at load, at least it isn't supposed to be.

I've now powered the computer after the night and it went back to 4500

temps never go above 65c. didnt change the voltage (locked) and the power limit is 110%
