So ever since the windows 10 aniversary update, my classic shell keps getting flagged as incompatible and is getting removed from my system. I took this screenshot the second time it happened and it happened a third time today which is why im making this post. I'm pretty much sure that this is because microsoft wants me to use cortana. I use classic shell to add more transparency to my taskbar and also so microsoft doesnt collect my searches everytime I want to open a program quickly without going through the huge list until i find it. In fact, before the update I actually found the location of cortana in the os files and manually deleted the entire folder that has "her" in it so I didnt even accidentally type anything into the the search bar when i had the start menu open. The update restored cortana and uninstalled classic shell because they want to see every time i search for ableton live or adobe after effects and then suggest me some sorta app from their store that's a crappy video editor that they want me to buy cuz they'll get 10% of what I pay for it.

Not really looking for a fix just wanted to rant.

Make sure you're using version 4.30 as that was created specifically for the anniversary update.

I had an older version also that got uninstalled when I updated windows.
