Old pc server

I have an old computer laying around, is it possible to make a server for web hosting (personal training) and storage of it? Which is remotely accessible from another pc?

To be able to host a webpage you need a ethernet connection and a decent broadband connection.

Technically he could use a 9600 baud modem to host a webpage.  Don't think IP networking would work too well over 2400 baud though. 

 

And yes, one can absolutely use the machine as a server for that purpose.  "back in the day", I used a 386 to do the same.
