Planning a PC for a friend

barkloaf

Hey guys, so, I have a friend who wants to build a PC and I've been helping him. I've already made 2 or 3 other threads on this, but I've got another list. We've switched from Intel to AMD and back to Intel again like a bipolar schoolgirl.

Some things for making suggestions (READ)

DON'T CHANGE THE PSU! It's fine, I know, some of you are going to barf, but it's fine. It's a fine PSU, I have it too, given me no issues, just don't change it.

Keep those same Peripherals. Keyboard, mouse, monitor, and wireless network card, also keep the same case

Don't add Windows

Don't use a dual core (Don't bring up 50 different videos and articles saying it's fine, either)

Budget is around $1000 USD, or cheaper, don't go way over!

Hi there :)

I REALLY like what you've done with the build! It looks like a neatly balanced and optimized build for the budget. The single memory stick allows future upgrades and generally the build should suffice for most needs.

Any particular usage type you have in mind? If it's for gaming what games and what settings are you after?

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
