Should I purchase a Linksys 1200ACS?

Hi All,

So I currently have an ASUS RT-N56U router running most of the house and I am wondering if its time to upgrade it.

If I do get the linksys I plan to use the Tomato firmware for it and then run traffic through a VPN (Express VPN to be exact)

We have a couple of AC enabled devices in the house so I suppose thats an advantage.

 

So is there any major reason to upgrade the router?
