So I've got a bit of a question. I'm looking for something that may not exist exactly as I'm describing it or even at all but I figured it's worth the question.

So my dad is an aspiring photographer and he is starting to run out of space on his drives.

I'm looking for a sort of external Hard Drive cage where you can 'plug&play' hard drives. Almost like that thing for gpu's for laptops that Linus did a review of.

So my question is, does this exist? and if so what's it called and where could I find one?

Well normally I would agree with you but my dad is working towards turning a photography hobby into a profession and each picture he takes is about 43MB per picture. At a wedding shoot he could take more than 1k pictures (In fact most pros do take a ton of pictures and just sift through them) but with a bay of hard drives he could just label the different hard drives and plug in what ever he needed
