470 vs 480?

What in the blue hell is going on? In the past couple days I've seen all kinds of articles about XFX, MSI, Gigabyte, etc... all launching their 470 cards. Where the hell are their 480 cards? All I can see is friggin reference, with the exception of one 4gb variant that I don't want. This isn't really a question, just kind of me bitching because I want a non reference 480 damnit!
