Hello guys,

I have a problem. After building my PC (new parts), I usually just plugged in an ethernet cable, until I bought a network adapter. From that moment, everything went to hell. 900+ ping, videos not even buffering on 144p and downloading with 10 kbp/s.

First things first,
I am on a bridge router.
Atheros AR938x Wireless Network Adaptor
http://prntscr.com/c22i1p - Ethernet connected
http://prntscr.com/c22laa - Wi-Fi

Sometimes I am alone on my network and I can play CS:GO with 70 ping :o . I am around 3.1 meters from my router, with only one wooden wall inbetween it. It seems like only my PC has it, as my wi-fi on my Galaxy S4 is pretty fast.

I made sure that no one on my network is watching videos, downloading or whatever. I even ask to turn their cell's wifi off when they're on their laptop, so I haz more bandwith kek.

PC specs: http://prntscr.com/c22ncp

I am definitely not a pro on the networksection, so please enlighten me senpai.

If you need additional info or need me to do something, just ask it and I will.

Thanks in advance guys!

PS: I can't ethernet without the cable going through the door, as I haz no holes in my wall =(.

I would check with an app on your phone to see what channels your network is on, and what other networks are in the area. On android, what I use is WiFi Analyzer. If there are a bunch of different wireless networks all on the same channel your network is on, it might help switching your network to a less busy channel. The most common channels used are 1, 6, and 11, so try switching to the least congested one.

11 was the most emptiest one, and I changed my channel to that about 2 months ago :P
