ACER Predator XB270HUBPRZ 27, plan getting this display tommorow for 550€ from 750€ what do you think?  

Can my GPU handle this resolution?

You have a 980Ti right? I see no problems here. I ran a 2560x10080 monitor with a GTX 960 for a while and it was fine, even with Medium-High settings

Ya i am with Evga 980Ti Hybrid. 

What do you think about this monitor, are there any common issues with this model?

From what I could gather by quickly scrolling through here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1549176/official-acer-predator-xb270hu-owners-club there only seems to be some kind of driver bug that occurs when some people use 3D and 144Hz or something (just look for yourself) 
Personally, I'm jealous  I'd love to take the jump to <100Hz and higher than 1080p resolution. But I placed my priorities elsewhere for the moment:)

Hahaha the fun thing is, I currently have a 1440p screen and it is powered by a 7850... And I can play most games on medium(some even on high). So a 980TI will not be a problem on any front. Don't worry
