so im not sure if im posting in the area but here we go.

 

i have a Sapphire Radeon NITRO R9 390X 8GB GDDR5 with Backplate Graphics Card 11241-04-20G

i have free sync on but im still getting tearing

any help? and i have all the newest drivers and yes im using a DP not hdmi

Try to turn on Trippe Buffering and see if that helps anything

tried and it doesn't help. when i turn Vsync on i dont get tearing but my fps drops a lot

Did you turn the Free-Sync option in the game? and what drivers are you using?

yes i set my fps limit to display based so it doesnt go higher then 60

What resolution are you using? What are the exact drivers name?

i've been running like this from, the start. ive only been getting the tearing recently

In the first picture,could you take another SS with a lower resolution since the one you used is to big (1080p or 720p

As it turns out many people have been reporting screen tearing with 4k and AMD (Nvidia also) , here's the thread on the Overwatch forums if you wan't to read people's comments http://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20744344393?page=2

 

Try to lower the resolution and see if that helps,also turn on V-Sync if that helps you
