new build problems

hi all i have a bit of a problem im new to the forum and im trying to build my first gaming rig i currently have a

 

gigabyte F2A68HM-H motherboard

AMD Athlon x4 854 cpu

8gb of ddr3 ram

700w alpine psu

asus hd7770 2gb gpu

 

and my problem is when i breadboard my setup it runs with nothing on screen ither through onboard vga,hdmi or pci gpu i dont understand it i know my gpu is working because its been running on my old system for a few months without a problem thanks in advance

I think that you've listed the CPU wrong. Do you mean the 860k, by any chance?

no thats defo the cpu i have ive got two of them and according to gigabytes site this board is compatible with this cpu

Are any of these parts used or they all new? Check to see if everything is plugged in and the power switch is on.

all new m8 ive double checked every cable is plugged in still nothing on screen wont even post

Reseat all components, make sure everything is where it should be, give it another go. If that doesn't work, take the GPU out, switch a RAM module around or try with 1 stick of RAM and see what happens.

Did you try the other stick of ram?  Just asking because I was having the same problem with my computer, where everything would run but there would be no POST.  I tried one stick and each slot and then forgot about it, but after hours of trying different psu's, adapters, onboard graphics, monitors, and video cards I finally tried the other stick of ram and viola, i got my picture back and my faulty stick is on the way back to crucial now. Once i pulled my video card completely I saw the RAM debug led lit.

Damn, well it was just a thought.  Do you have a speaker hooked up to the mobo for beep codes? not back panel speakers, but case speaker?  The beep codes are here

Well it should give at least one short beep even if there's no problem when the system boots.  No beeps at all is strange.

i know m8 this is the second motherboard ive bought as well as two of the same cpu's incase i blew one of them and still nothing
