Boot Device Problems / PC Lag

I upgraded my super old pre-built PC with an MSI GTX 1060 and an Antec 550W PSU. Initially, the problem was that any application that wasn't a stock windows app would run at 800x600, would be super slow and laggy. I couldn't load into any of my games without crashing either. Afterwards I went into bios settings to reset them but now my hard drive can't be booted. Tips?

Antec 550W PSU i7-3770

Asus CM6870 LGA 1155

Seagate Barracuda 2 TB

operating system?

did you install drivers for the card?

"old" motherboard....... maybe one that has that old hybrid graphics on it.. if so, kill it.

EDIT............ that a shitty 5400rpm HD?
