I agree on the ssd part, the best i know and highly suggest is http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/3kL7YJ/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mz75e250bam

Also, you can consider getting a different PSU. Lately i learned that i went overkill with my own PSU that was also 750W and i will not even need it, should i decide to go with nvidia SLI. A 500W - 600W PSU would also do you good, for example: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/DbqdnQ/corsair-power-supply-cs550m.

Currently your build only needs(Give or take) 370W at the most.

There are other options out there, like the Samsung 850 EVO, its really good, but also gotta pay a premium price for it. This A-Data SP550 is a good budget compromise though, and its real-world performance difference is likely unnoticeable in comparison to the 850 EVO.

The only other thing that stick out at me about your build is the PSU. You could save some money if you go with a lower wattage version of that unit (like the 550W). Its not a bad idea to get the 750W and if you can afford that then there is not really any good reason to avoid getting it. But if money is tight then this is a way you could shave a few bucks off the build.

Other than that, you have a pretty excellent build there.

I recommend a Samsung 850 EVO 120GB M.2 drive as your boot drive. it's cheaper and faster than what you have. Plus 120GBs is plenty for a boot drive.

it's a giant mushroom... MAYBE IT'S FRIENDLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Power supply seems a little overkill, but then again, you may want to overclock. That's fine. But the ssd you have... Maybe something like http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/gf98TW/a-data-internal-hard-drive-asp550ss3240gmc or http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/BNGj4D/sandisk-internal-hard-drive-sdssda240gg25

Nothing.

moved to build planning

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
