Hi Guys,

I wanna build my first PC and I need help with picking the right parts! My budget is about 1500€ /1650$!

I would want to get the gtx 1060 or 1070 but Im not that good at picking parts, because I don't know exactly what parts are good etc.

Hope you can help me!

You could have a look at the $1500 system that's in my signature and add peripherals on top of that.

I will most likely not respond to you in a thread unless you quote me.

Spoiler

Damnit Carl (My portable POS):

CPU: Core i7-6700HQ

Motherboard: Toshiba L55-C5392 Mobo

RAM: 8GB DDR3 (even though I have Skylake)

GPU: Intel HD Graphics 530

Case: Toshiba L55-C5392 Case

Storage: 525 GB Crucial MX300 SSD

PSU: Whatever power jack comes with it

Display: Some 1366 x 768 garbage + an OK 1080p monitor

Cooling: Not enough + an external laptop tray

Keyboard: The included one

Mouse: $4 Lenovo 3D Optical Mouse (not as bad as you (rightly) assumed)

Sound: The Skullcandy branding right under the power button should clue you in

Operating System: Windows 10 Home

Austria! And yeah, for gaming and I need everything(mouse keyboard etc)^^

With my system, you could probably get a nice cheap monitor for around $100, and some sort of mouse/keyboard combo deal like the CM Storm Devastator bundle for $50, or you could potentially drop some of the more expensive things from the build, like the Kraken x61 or go to the i5-6600K from the i7-6700K if you wanted some nicer peripherals.

Should I buy other fans for the Kraken x61 or are the stock fans fine?

The stock fans are pretty good, although if you find yourself wanting something different you could go with this, a twin pack.
